Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a faith-filled family with loving, dedicated parents. He is the oldest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a pioneer of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace onto her son at an early stage.
The LoveWorld ministry is a family effort. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a member the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that has a host of gospel top-selling artists.
Pastor Chris has two children, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow her father's example of sharing the Gospel of God with the world Also called CSO, she is a talented gospel singer who has won awards and is a an active member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated in Edo College. He then won a scholarship to study architecture in Bendel State University. He has an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to join the ministry and to be a servant to the Lord.
